SITE STUDIO FEATURES:
Simple to use: SiteStudio guides the user
step-by-step, providing simple choices with regards to color, style, and images.
There is no software to buy and no code to learn. In addition, there is no need
to mess around with programs such as FTP or Telnet.
Content and Design
Separation: The content of the website(s) is stored separately from the
layout. This way, you can completely change the look of your website(s) with
just six clicks of the mouse, without ever having to retype any information.
Complete control over color
schemes: SiteStudio includes a number of built-in color combinations that
look great with any layout. But if you want to add a little originality to your
site by changing the colors, use a point-and-click color picker or, for even
more control, type in the color as a hex number.
Layout templates: The
layout of the site(s) is controlled by layout templates. These are created in
HTML, enhanced by a few additional tags for generating images. SiteStudio comes
with 71 layout templates, the Personal category sharing 21 layouts and the Small
Business category - 50 layouts. More layouts are added with every new version of
SiteStudio. You may want to create additional layouts on your own or request
them from us.
On-the-fly image generation: SiteStudio dynamically generates the images it needs for each website design, so
each time you decide to change the color combination for a given page, the
layout, or just a button caption, the necessary image is automatically created.
You need not ever bother with complex and expensive programs such as Photoshop
to create websites with clean and professional-looking graphics: our designers
have already done that for you!
User-uploaded images: Thanks to the Image Uploader, you will be able to transfer images to your online
account without ever having to leave your browser. These images can be
incorporated into page content or even page design. You can create an online
photo album or insert a personal picture to make it a seamless part of the page
logo.
Variety of pages: SiteStudio can be used to make many different pages. You can create an online
resume or build a personal photo album. Everything is done in a simple
step-by-step process that is easy to learn and to follow. And because pages are
template-driven, you can add your own custom page types or request pages with
specific functionality from us.

One-click publishing: Your website(s) is published with one easy click. But even after it has been
published, you can go back and change it as much as you wish. By clicking on the
"Publish" button again, you will instantly upload all the changes that you have
made to the "live" version of the site.
Persistence: All your
information is saved the moment it is entered. If you decide to log out, you can
come back and continue building your website from where you left off.
Complete control over the website: With the use of Site Studio's provided
settings, you can make unique and attractive websites. SiteStudio provides the
advanced user an option to change buttons on the site.

text/HTML Rich Editor: Browser-based text editor for Internet Explorer for
Windows users only. It empowers SiteStudio users to work with formatting,
styles, tables, bullets and more. The Rich Editor allows copying and pasting the
most complex tables from a web browser or from any Office application.
SETTING UP SITESTUDIO
After you have signed up for a hosting account, setting up Site Studio is
simple. When you have completed the account sign up process, you will receive an
e-mail with instructions on how to log into your Control Panel
- Log into the Control Panel
- Click on "Manage FTP" link in the "Site Manager" section
This will drive you to the FTP Manager of the Control Panel.
- Click on the "Site Studio" link in the drop down menu on top
of the page and activate your SiteStudio
- Open your SiteStudio (the website builder will open
in a new window.)
- Enter the host info and FTP password (the FTP
password you have received in the e-mail or previously set up) on the
next page and click "login".
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
After you have built your website with Site Studio, you can
make further changes or additions to it using Site Studio or a different
program to achieve greater flexibility while editing your website. However,
you should know that if you edit your web pages with Microsoft FrontPage,
you would not be able to edit your pages with Site Studio further, because
FrontPages makes certain changes to files with security settings that make
them incompatible with Site Studio.
In addition, if you upgrade your
hosting plan to a static IP, to use Secure Socket Layers (SSL) for instance, you
may see that all the graphics from the pages that you created using Site Studio
have disappeared. To correct this issue, start up Site Studio's Setting Page and
click on Refresh Links. This will republish your website and will restore all
the graphics that appeared missing.
